Old German Shepherd Dog Photos
I started this page to show some incredible history of the German Shepherd Dog. It was always interesting to me to see the jobs
and roles the German Shepherd Dog filled for prior generations of all different backgrounds and nationalities and just how important they were to those they served.
It is a great reminder to me that someday someone will look back on what we have done in our time. The German Shepherd
Dog must not only be a dog of the past and the present; he must remain a working dog for all times!

I would be happy to include it in honor of these extraordinary animals. If the photo is copyrighted on a website, please get the website owner's permission before sending it to me.
I have many more photos of war dogs, schutzhund dogs, search and rescue dogs, herding dogs, police dogs, etc., and will add them as I get time to update the site. I will also include some very nice pictures here and there of breeds other than the GSD that were working dogs too. Enjoy!
