Often people will call or email me asking what puppy news is happening or how training is going, what breedings are planned or happening, and so on. I'll try and update this page often so people can follow along to the happenings here at my kennel!
I have added a new page that offers recommended reading material to anyone looking to improve their knowledge of German Shepherds and Schutzhund. It can be accessed through my "This and That" page. Enjoy!
My two SG1 Stuka vom Enckhausen SchH3, IPO3, FH, Kkl1, HOT sons (Felon and Danko) are doing very well and maturing nicely. The gripping on these two is extremely nice, all drives are very high, and they both have their father's speed right now when striking. I'll get them added onto my males page soon and will begin getting updated pictures and video for those of you who have been asking to see them develop.
I've gotten a lot of great feedback on the "This and That" quotes page that was started, many have really enjoyed it.
I have created a new page on the website called the "This and That" page. It will have information added as I have time available for training ideas, informative articles, genetics, etc., intended to be thought provoking about our German Shepherd Dog breed. I already have the first installment of it up now, which are favorite dog quotes. Check back from time to time to see what's been added!
Here's a nice photo from our last trial at O.G. Indianapolis Schutzhund und Polizei. I'm working my good friend and training partner Mike Diehl's dog Arci (SG Erri z Blatenskeho Zamku SchH3, IPO3, FH, Kkl2). Arci's a very good dog and a lot of fun to work.

Here are some pictures from my friend Tony Zintmaster. He trains in our club and he does Search and Rescue as a handler for FEMA. These are pictures of he and his partner Kaiser. The first two are him doing imprint and foundation on him as a puppy, and the second are where all that training and time went. They are working during 9-11 at Ground Zero in New York. Thanks for sharing the pictures my friend!

Congratulations to my friend Lorna Thomas for getting her BH on Atze von den Sportwaffen under Johannes Grewe!! She also completed his AD with him, which is a roughly 12.5 mile run!! Way to go Lorna and the Atz man!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
My new male SG Zauner vom Cap Arkona SchH3, Kkl2 (Zambo) is doing very well. I'm going to get some video of him and get him listed on the site soon. Very serious dog in the bitework.
Unfortunately, at this time it looks as if my breeding with Caine x Jenny is not going to occur. My females stay in homes away from my kennel until time of breeding to give them a more rewarding life than watching a kennel. She must have been very clean coming in which caused my friend to miss it and by the time I got her she was coming out. It happens, we'll just do the breeding on the next cycle. My next breedings will be Cheyenne and Flower.
Here's a video of a Caine x Jenny son that his new owner sent me. Very nice little male!
My female Jenny von der Langerts SchH1 has come into heat and will be bred to my male Sunshadow's Caine SchH1. This is a repeat breeding that produced lots of drive and great looks and the feedback from those puppy buyers has been very good. If you are interested in getting on board this litter early, please contact me.
I have a new SchH3 male coming from Germany that is a Melano vom Cap Arkona son, Nick Heiligenbosch grandson with lines returning to Half Ruhbachtal, Timmy von der bosen Nachbarschaft, Fero vom zeuterner Himmelreich, Orlie vom Korbelbach, Greif zum Lahntal, Fiasko von Gebrüder Grimm, Lord Gleisdreieck, Jeff vom Flamings-Sand, and Ingo Rudigen! Very strong pedigree. When I get all his info I will get him listed. In the meantime, here's a picture of him:

Congratulations to my good friend Dan Cox and his male Chuck vom Dorneburger Bach SchH3, AD, HOT for winning the 2008 USA National Championship with 99-90-98=287V!!!!
I am extremely proud of Dan and all his hard work. I have been able to see Dan come up from a new guy that knew absolutely nothing but had all the dedication, drive, and willingness to learn, to now an accomplished dog handler and trainer with a Nationals win! Dan is a real Cinderella story of a down to earth really nice guy that works hard and never gives up on his desire to be the best. It's nice to see the good guy come in first. Super job, Dan and Chuck!!!
Dan is surrounded by people that helped him succeed. Dan has a great helper in Jason Wiggins and they have devoted many hours of hard work toward this goal. Dan's lovely wife Emily supports Dan 100% and lets him spend those hours away from home working with Chuck. She even comes to his trials with their beautiful little girl to cheer him on!
