Often people will call or email me asking what puppy news is happening or how training is going, what breedings are planned or happening, and so on. I'll try and update this page often so people can follow along to the happenings here at my kennel!
Congratulations to my friend and training partner Mike Diehl and Erri (Arci) Blatenskeho zamku!! Mike and Arci just won the Working Dog Championships with 99-97-97=293V and now go on to the 2009 WUSV in Krefeld Germany for Team USA! Way to go guys!

My friend Dan Cox is also going to the 2009 WUSV with his dog Chuck. We are going to have a great time in Germany with friends and work hard to make sure both of these teams put the big points on the board for Team USA!!
I tried to get some more pictures and video of some of the puppies this last weekend but the weather did not cooperate. I will try and get more up on them soon for everyone to see. Some of you have already been contacting me to arrange pickups and that's good. It was also nice for those of you who have been able to make the journey and see the litter here first hand.

The Kutter x Flower puppies are fat, fat, fat. They are inside a heated whelping box in my outdoor whelping kennel, so unfortunately I can't really get them out for pictures as much because of the weather and their age. The box is completely enclosed for them and toasty warm. I go out and crawl inside with them (it's about 4' x 8') to spend time with them and observe them. Flower is doing a great job and takes very good care of them.
I want to make a video of the puppies out encountering some things but I need the weather to cooperate a little.
The Stuka x Cheyenne puppies have turned into full blown cottage cheese addicts. They go crazy for it, it's hilarious. I'm pouring food to Cheyenne right now to keep weight on her. She's a good mother and has done a good job with the puppies. She'll go back to her foster home this week so she can recover her weight and get some well deserved rest.
Flower is doing great and her pups are as fat as piglets at the fair because there's always a spot open at the dinner table!
All the puppies from these litters are sold now. I just need to update the For Sale page.
Here are more pictures of the puppies from this evening. The Stuka x Cheyenne litter was outside in the grass getting their first taste of cottage cheese and being exposed to some environmental noises like passing cars, neighbor dogs, etc. The Kutter x Flower litter are starting to act like dogs a little and got a nice break out on the grass with a good belly full from mom. On Friday I am going to get new pictures and video of the puppies from both litters. I'm also going to start the Stuka x Cheyenne litter on some solid food (cottage cheese).
Here's a short video of the Kutter x Flower puppies. Once they are older and more active they will be video'd more.
Here are the pictures of the Stuka x Cheyenne puppies from this evening. I had them outside in the grass and a neighbor came over with his two little girls. It was a great opportunity to take the puppies somewhere new outside the whelping kennel and have a nice socialization experience for them. Nothing better than cute little kids with cute little puppies!

Here are the pictures of the Kutter x Flower puppies from this evening. I'm sure you'd probably like to see more of them, but at this age this is all they do when they're not eating. Don't worry, you'll get more soon as they get older and show more.

Flower now has 1 boy and 2 girls. I lost one female and one male early on (from a litter of 5). Such is life unfortunately. The surviving puppies are very good size with nice color and doing very well, she's taking good care of them. One nice thing about a smaller litter is lots of empty seats at the dinner table! I will get pictures of both litters this weekend and at least one video. The Cheyenne litter is doing awesome also. The puppies are getting much bigger and they are walking with eyes and ears open. Very nice heads and color.
Flower started delivering her Kutter puppies! She is doing very well and being a very good mother. I will post the final count once all is done. They look very nice so far.

These are pictures of Farah von den Sportwaffen at training this last weekend. She had very nice barking and perfect grips with great strikes. Farah is 7 months old.

Cheyenne wasted no time in breaking in her whelping box. She delivered 5 boys and 4 girls!! They all look very healthy so far and she is doing a great job of taking care of them. Cheyenne is a very good mother.
